This article is gonna be short, but it’s gonna be sweet 🙂

For those of us who have troubles getting motivated to workout, a new study found out that thinking about your previous workout, good or bad, helps to motivate yourself to workout again.

Apparently, the University of New Hampshire, asked participants to recall a memory of themselves exercising. Some were asked to recall a good memory, while others were asked to recall a bad memory. What the researchers found was that participants who thought about a positive memory were more inclined to exercise again, but even the participants who thought about a negative memory were more inclined to exercise than the control group, who was given no instruction of recalling memories. Here’s the link to the study

Besides remembering your past workout, let me remind you that everything is about habits. While it might not take just 21 days to build a habit, the more you do something, the easier it gets. So go work out and don’t think back, just move forward until the habit is formed and soon enough you won’t even remember not working out! ah!
